Grandma's Apple Pie

Ingredients

6 - 7 Apples

3/4 cup sugar

2 Tablespoons Flour

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 pie crust (I use store bought)

4 tabs of butter 

1/4 cup of milk

Preparation

  1.  Peel apples.

  2. Mix the sugar, flour and cinnamon with the chopped and peeled apples in a bowl.

  3.  Grease a 9" pie plate and lay the pie crust in it.

  4. Add the apple mixture.

  5. Apply 4 tabs of butter about 1/4" thick randomly on top of the apple mixture.

  6. Lay the pie crust on top and press the edges together.

  7. Add some slits to the top of the top of the pie crust

  8. Brush some milk on the pie crust so that it becomes flakey.

  9. Bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees and then 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
